The Basel Line

A proposition calling for a ‘dislocated’ gaze, an unexpected line of light in a mysterious conversation with the neighboring trees. It’s a moment of silence, an instance when one could possibly trace a remote human presence; perhaps someone (how many? one? a family? a group?) passed by and left a mark, a beacon to those who would come around, wandering, trying to find passages, trying to go somewhere they’ve heard of. This line of light will eventually become another tree.’
