Andreia Santana (1991, Lisbon) lives and works in Lisbon. Helds a BA in Fine Arts from ESAD – School of Visual Arts and Design and was a participant in Maumaus Independent Study Program in Lisbon. Since 2013, has participate in several residency programs namely, Residency Unlimited in New York, with a fellowship from Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation; Panal 360 in Buenos Aires, Mieszkanie Gepperta Residency Gallery in Poland and Gasworks – Triangle Network at Hangar, in Lisbon. Santana won the NOVO BANCO Revelação Prize in 2016 and D. Fernando I Sculpture Prize, and was shortlisted for the Ducato Prize (Italy) in 2019. Exhibits her work in Portugal and abroad, highlighting the exhibitions: The Outcast Manufacturers at Galeria Filomena Soares, Lisbon (2018); Leaves of Absence at Serralves Contemporary Art Museum, Porto (2017); 10 years 10 artists, 10 commissions.
