Ana Aragão


(Porto, 1984)
Graduated as an architect from the Faculty of Architecture of the Porto University (FAUP, 2009) and scholarship-holder from FCT, attended the PhD of the Department of Architecture of the University of Coimbra (2011-2014). Currently, she dedicates herself exclusively to drawing, exploring the theme of urban imaginaries and paper architectures. Some of her recent projects include the participation with illustrations in the portuguese representation (Homeland) in the 2014 edition of the Venice Bienal, her selection by Luerzer’s Archive as one of the “200 Best Illustrators Worldwilde” (2014), as well as collaborations with Vista Alegre, Porto Barros, Tapeçarias Ferreira de Sá, Jofebar, Centro Cultural de Belém, Casa da Memória de Guimarães, among others. In 2018 she was invited to do an artistic residency and solo exhibition at Fundação do Oriente in Macau.
